Hot Buys!

I have to thank Keri for bringing this sale to my attention. . . It was amazing! I got all of this, 20 cake mixes, 10 tubs of frosting, 10 Grands biscuits, 4 shampoos, and 2 loaves of bread, for $27.62, plus I still have a $10 coupon to use at Albertsons (I was in a hurry or would have bought more). Woohoo!

More Basketball

Kazen had his last game a week ago. He is so sad. He is such a hustler, all over the floor, and just an all-around good player. He is such a good kid, too! He is growing up so fast and looking more like a young man.

Daxon had a game yesterday after 2 weeks off. His team barely lost by 2 points. He did amazing this game, drove to the basket, got rebounds. He has 2 more games then his season is over. It is amazing how much they improve from the beginning of the season to the end. His dad made him get a hair cut (which I have to say I am very grateful for). He has had a shag for a long time and when I got home from school, I almost didn't recognize him because I could see his face! He is so handsome. His dad told him now he is going to get the girls.

Kesh's tournament started yesterday and it was a single-elimination tournament. we played a team that we were far better than. We were ahead 21-11 at the half. Kesh fouled out at the end of the 3rd quarter and after that we couldn't even get the ball over half court, let alone score anymore. It was awful! Her team should have won this one easily, but alas, it is not meant to be. She is going to try to find a really good camp this summer and get ready for the high school team in the fall. Her coach wants to get her to play with some college players and play at a higher level so she will be ready.

I so enjoy watching my kids play sports and am a little sad the season is almost over.

Our Anniversary

Tomorrow Just and I will have been married for 16 years! Yowza! That is a really long time, especially since we dated for 4 years before getting married. We aren't old enough to have been married that long are we? Now here we are 5 kids later and we have built a really great life together. We have such great kids and are so blessed that they are all healthy. I love him more today than I ever have. Justin can still make me laugh and is very unpredictable, so needless to say life is never boring at our house! Just look at the gift he gave me for our anniversary this year. . .

What a trophy! (I mean Just, of course)!

Happy anniversary Hun!

Contest

Daxon won a contest and got to take a friend and go tubing up at Soldier Hollow (the longest tubing run in the West). Anyone can enter (I think you have to live in Utah, not sure, read the rules). Just go to www.utahadventurer.com, click on the Win Big box, upload a photo or video of you doing something outdoors and that is it! They draw a new winner each month, so enter monthly. Some of the things past winners have done include skydiving, indoor surfing, snowkiting, just to name a few. Dax had a blast and it was so easy. Afterwards they went to Costa Vida to have dinner with the owner.

I love anything free and enter every contest I can find so I wanted to share this with you!

Monster Flakes

This was a snowstorm that we thought was going to get rid of the haze. . . not! The flakes were huge and the kids couldn't help themselves!
